There are monumental experiences that allow you to slip through overlapping worlds into some mysterious yet familiar realm. Inspired by a trip to Egypt, I used ancient Pharonic symbols to experiment with printing layers of semi-transparent, opaque and transparent images. The floating, flying figures represent how we move in, out and around our personal and collective memories. Our past, present and futures are not really linear sequences, but intermingled in our consciousness.
